Plan a glass display around what it will hold

For a Bastrop cabinet or shelving project, explain what you want to display and how the storage is used. Clear inserts and open shelves create different design questions. Provide photos of the cabinet doors, interior shelves, and surrounding finishes. The intended contents should guide the conversation alongside the appearance.

Separate cabinetry work from glass work

Ask who prepares cabinet openings or modifies existing doors if needed. Similar-looking openings may require individual measurements. Label the intended locations and discuss supports for shelving rather than choosing them from a photograph. Clarify these responsibilities before approving custom pieces.
